Programs for Schools and Teachers
From simple to sublime, the benefits of dance for children are many. Programs for school-age youth spark a lifetime of appreciation in children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience dance. Each season NOBA is responsible for reaching almost 10,000 children with the following programs that both educate and enlighten students. For information contact Suzanne Hirsch at 504-522-0996 x203.
In School Program
NOBA works closely with teachers to develop innovative teaching and learning methods that have proven successful among 3rd-5th graders. NOBA is partnering with four schools to implement an 18-week residencies. The curriculum uses dance to teach social studies, language arts and character building.
