New Orleans Ballet Association closes its highly successful season with the world premiere of ABSOLUTE BALLET! featuring principals and soloists from one of America's premier and rarely seen ballet companies, Seattle's Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB). This brand new chamber ballet project conceived and directed by PNB powerhouse principal dancer, Stanko Milov, stars a hand-picked, elite ensemble of eight dancers from PNB. The company brings a beautiful program of classical masterpieces including Balanchine's brilliant Apollo and glittering Diamonds Pas de Deux from the full-evening Jewels plus Ulysses Dove's dramatic Red Angels. This ballet event is a very special and unique opportunity to see some of the country's finest dancers, including New Orleans native Laura Gilbreath.
