12. What are the requirements for the pre-professional program?
Students should be at least the age of 9 with two years of ballet training prior to the audition. Upon acceptance, students receive their schedule of classes for Saturdays. There are additional ballet classes offered during the week for this level. All participants in the program must take at least 2 additional classes during the week other than the Saturday classes at Tulane University.
Auditions are held the last Saturday in August (or the week before Labor Day), the first Saturday in January (if there is availability - call Ashley Floyd with questions), and two dates in the spring for the summer camp.
