If there is a tornado or severe weather WARNING at the location of classes, use your best judgment and stay home. If there is a tornado or severe weather WATCH, classes are not cancelled. Use your best judgment in any weather instance. If streets are flooding due to heavy rains, stay home. If it is just raining outside, bring your umbrella with you to class.
