CHALMETTE HIGH SCHOOL CULTURAL ARTS CENTER
2600 Palmisano Blvd. (Chalmette)

Registration will be held at the Chalmette High School Cultural Arts Center on Wednesday, January 17, 5:00-7:00pm. A $5.00 processing fee required and a COPY of a birth certificate for 6 y/o children. The spring semester begin Monday, January 29.

Class Schedule 2017-2018
Ballet Instructor: Rebecca Chauvin

Monday and Wednesday (must attend both days)
5:30-6:30pm Primary Ballet (recommended for ages 6-8)
6:30-7:30pm Level 1 Ballet (recommended for ages 9-11)
7:30-8:30pm Level 2 Ballet (recommended for ages 12-18)

* Class locations and schedules are subject to change.

* No audition or prior dance experience necessary.

* Classes are tuition-free and open to all children 6-18.

* Students are placed in the appropriate class based on both age and experience level.


Registration
Wednesday, January 17, 5:00-7:00pm

$5.00 Processing Fee (cash only) due at time of registration.


Everyone must register, including returning students. You must register in person. If you wish to enroll at multiple centers, it is strongly recommended that you go to each center to register as in-person registrations are given priority.

Enrollment packets will be available at registration. No other paperwork is needed except a birth certificate copy for children ages 6-7.

Students must have turned six by January 1, 2018. If your child is 6-7 years old, a copy of their birth certificate is required at registration. Students must be no older than 18 or a senior in high school to participate.


What to Wear
Ballet:
Girls: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Split-Sole Ballet Shoes
Boys: White T-Shirt, Black Tights, Black Split-Sole Ballet Shoes
Hair: Hair must be neatly pulled back in a bun; no ponytails are allowed.

Students WILL NOT be allowed to participate in class without the required dance attire and neat hair.

October 31, 2017: Halloween, no classes
November 19 – 26, 2017: Thanksgiving break, no classes
December 13, 2017: December Student Showcases
December 18, 2017 – January 27, 2017: Winter break
January 29, 2018: Classes resume
February 12 – 16, 2018: Mardi Gras break, no classes
March 28, 2018: Open Studio Day
April 2 - 6, 2018: Spring break, no classes
May 16, 2018: Spring Student Showcase
