Class Schedule 2017-2018

Ballet and Hip Hop Instructor: Brittney Williams
Tap Instructor: Nanette Ledet

5:00-6:00pm Primary Hip Hop (recommended for ages 6-8)
6:00-7:00pm Level 1 Hip Hop (recommended for ages 9-18)

Tuesday and Thursday (must attend both days)
5:00-6:00pm Primary Ballet (recommended for ages 6-8)
6:00-7:00pm Level 1 Ballet (recommended for ages 9-18)

4:00-5:00pm Primary Tap (recommended for ages 6-8)
5:00-6:00pm Level 1 Tap (recommended for ages 9-18)

* Class locations and schedules are subject to change.

* No audition or prior dance experience necessary.

* Classes are tuition-free and open to all children 6-18.

* Students are placed in the appropriate class based on both age and experience level.

Registration Information

$5.00 Processing Fee (cash only) due at time of registration.

Everyone must register, including returning students. You must register in person. If you wish to enroll at multiple centers, it is strongly recommended that you go to each center to register as in-person registrations are given priority.

Enrollment packets will be available at registration. No other paperwork is needed except a birth certificate copy for children ages 6-7.

Students must have turned six by January 1, 2018. If your child is 6-7 years old, a copy of their birth certificate is required at registration. Students must be no older than 18 or a senior in high school to participate.

What to Wear
Girls: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Split-Sole Ballet Shoes
Boys: White T-Shirt, Black Tights, Black Split-Sole Ballet Shoes

Hip Hop
Girls: Leotard, Leggings/Running Pants, Sneakers
Boys: T-Shirt, Leggings/Running Pants, Sneakers

Girls: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Black Tap Shoes
Boys: White T-Shirt, Black Tights, Black Tap Shoes

Hair: Hair must be neatly pulled back in a bun; no ponytails are allowed.

Students WILL NOT be allowed to participate in class without the required dance attire and neat hair.

Week of September 5, 2017: Fall classes begin
Week of October 2, 2017: Open Studio Days
October 31, 2017: Halloween, no classes
November 19 – 26, 2017: Thanksgiving break, no classes
December 3, 2017 (3:00pm & 6:00pm): tentative date for The Nutcracker Suite
December 5 – 14, 2017: December Student Showcases
December 17, 2017 – January 2, 2017: Winter break
January 15, 2018: Martin Luther King Day, no classes
February 7 – 16, 2018: Mardi Gras break, no classes
Week of March 12, 2018: Open Studio Days
March 25 – April 2, 2018: Spring break, no classes
April 24 – 26, 2018: April Spring Dance Concerts (6:30pm each night)
