Join us for three weeks of exciting and educational Adventures in Dance!
for Orleans Parish children ages 8-10
Camp Dates: July 9-27, 2018
This camp will provide adventures in movement to motivate, educate and inspire youth, and will include a great balance of learning through dance, nutrition, health, and fun. Classes will include different styles of dance techniques (ballet, global dance, modern, hip hop and jazz) including dance history, composition and creative movement that allow students to explore artistic expression, healthy eating and lifestyle discussions, art projects, reading and literacy through exposure to children’s books about dance, for example, “Jose (Limon) Born to Dance,” a book about the legendary artist; exercises for young students designed to promote life skills, ie team building, social and critical thinking skills. The camp culminates in a fully costumed performance. Camp Location:

No applications will be accepted without copies of the following documents, which are required at the time of registration. NO APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED WITH MISSING INFORMATION/SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS (SEE BELOW). REQUIRED DOCUMENTS1)
Copy of Proof of Orleans Parish Residency, BOTH a State-issued ID with Orleans Parish address AND 2018 Utility bill (Entergy, S & WB, cable bill, etc.)2)
Copy of 2018 Proof of Income for each parent/guardian - any of the following as applicable:
-Copy of pay stubs - FOUR consecutive pay periods for each adult in the family
-Copy of Social Security award letters
-Copy of notarized letter with income information verifying self-employment or non-employment
Copy of most current report card; Home-schooled children must submit current immunization record
*Eligibility for NORD summer camps subject to household income*
