Since 1992, the NORDC/NOBA Center for Dance has strived to touch the lives of every member of our community through dance.

Dance Theatre of Harlem artists

Held throughout June and July, our tuition-free Summer Intensive Programs give motivated students ages 8-18 the opportunities to study with an exceptional faculty of visiting and local artists. The headlining July Daytime Intensive (July 11 – 31), open by audition to ages 12-18, will feature artistic directors and artists from Dance Theatre of Harlem and KEIGWIN + COMPANY! Guest faculty for the June Chevron Master Artist Series and Young Dancer Intensive will feature artists from top dance companies including New York City Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. We will also be recruiting for our 2018 – 2019 Pre-Professional Program during the Summer Intensive Programs!

After-School Dance Classes

Intensive training, classes by world renowned dancers through the Chevron Master Artist Series, invitations to perform on regional and national stages, and more unique opportunities.
