The Ballet Resource And Volunteer Organization (BRAVO) is the main fundraising entity of the New Orleans Ballet Association. Comprised of over 200 dedicated members, BRAVO annually produces a much-anticipated gala, and is the recipient of the proceeds from Men & Women of Fashion’s Prix d’Elegance luncheon.

Join BRAVO to ensure that the award winning youth programs of the New Orleans Ballet Association and the presentation of world renowned dance companies thrive in this city. BRAVO is one of the largest contributors to NOBA, and every year, the members of BRAVO help make possible over 5,500 tuition-free dance classes and activities after-school at numerous community sites, as well as scholarships for advanced study and guest artist residencies. Over the past 24 years, NOBA has provided more than $5 million of free classes to over 18,000 youth, many of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity to study this art form!

As a BRAVO member, you receive notification of meetings and invitations to FUNdraising events and meetings at beautiful area homes throughout the year. Additionally, BRAVO members plan and participate in special events, including Men & Women of Fashion's Prix d'Elegance Luncheon and BRAVO's annual gala.

For additional information about joining BRAVO, please contact the NOBA office at (504) 522-0996, ext. 208.

This season, BRAVO introduces the Nutcracker Legacy Fund dedicated to the acquisition and maintenance of the Nutcracker costumes used annually by the over 200 participants of the production. With your support, we can replace tattered costumes for several scenes and ensure our costumes stand the test of time, worn for years to come to transform our dancers into their legendary roles.

Please consider sponsoring a costume for our cherished production this holiday season. Your contribution will ensure that the entire cast of characters from Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy to the Rat Queen and Nutcracker take the stage dressed in their festive best. A commemorative gift in the honor or memory of someone special truly lasts a lifetime.
